About

We are the world-first and largest global network of economists applying behavioural economics insights and experimental methods (field experiments, randomises controlled trials, lab experiments, online experiments) to health, healthcare, public health, and health economics, practice, policy, and management.
We organise regular workshops and summer schools in behavioural and experimental health economics and thematic sessions and roundtables on these topics in conferences and public events.

We are supported by an international advisory board with some of the world-leading pioneers in the use of behavioural economics and experiments in health.

Our objectives
  • To bring closer together the research communities in behavioural and experimental economics on the one hand, and in health economics, practice, policy, and management on the other, and to facilitate the cross-fertilisation of insights, applications, and methods from the two fields.
  • To foster networking, information circulation, research collaborations, joint research funding opportunities, and joint specialization training.
  • To create a shared platform at the interface between academic research and policy applications, and to facilitate the matching of potential partnerships and synergies across researchers and public and private decision-makers in health.
  • To foster and monitor the applications of experimental methods and behavioural economics insights to the area of health and healthcare by decision-makers all around the world
