Daniel is an Associate Professor in Health Management at the University of Cologne (Germany), where he is a principal investigator at The Center for Social and Economic Behavior (C-SEB). He also holds a Network Associate Professorship at Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
main research interests
RCTs and behavioural experiments in health; research focus on incentives and the interaction of participants in health care markets; interest in how monetary and non-monetary incentives and social and economic preferences affect health-related behaviours, prevention, and physician decision making.
